Croquant Production Line

Croquant Production Line

The croquant production line and croquant manufacturing line are used in the production of a crispy and crunchy dessert obtained by combining various nuts and dried fruits with syrups such as honey, molasses, caramel, etc. Some of the nuts and dried fruits used in croquant are hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, pistachio, kernel, sesame, raisin, dried apricot, dried fig, and dried mulberry.

Keskin Makine Croquant Bar Production Line

It is specially designed for croquant production and can produce croquant ready for packaging with its syrup cooking boiler, shaping group, and product cutting divisions. It allows you to make mass production with the machines you need in croquant production.

We, as Keskin Makine, also provide automatic feeding systems for the ingredients you wish to add to the croquant, upon your request. Each machine is made of stainless material safe for food contact and allows you to continue your quality productions for many years. With the croquant line, you can produce not only bar-shaped croquants, but also soft croquants such as marshmallows or cornflakes.

The production of croquant bars starts with the preparation of the croquant mixture in a specially manufactured syrup cooking boiler by mixing the croquant mixture with mixers at the desired speed. To increase automation at this stage, there is also an optional automatic reverse feeding system available for adding nuts, dried fruit, or other ingredients of your choice to the croquant syrup. A homogeneous mixture is obtained in the syrup cooking boiler through the mixer that can be adjusted at the desired rotation speed.

The prepared mixture is discharged into the cylinder group hopper with the transfer conveyor. There are 2 cylinders in Keskin Makine shaping group. With the special hooper, the product can be adjusted to the desired thickness via the adjustable system when it comes from the feeding belt. The forming and shaping rollers are controlled and synchronized with the engines. The product is lowered to the belt group. The special design of the belt group prevents product adhesion problems and avoids product losses. The special reducers available in the roller group and belt group enable the product to be formed in the desired thickness. All rollers are height adjustable, and you can adjust the product thickness from 3 mm to 30 mm. The PLC control and touch screen allow you to easily make the desired changes on the screen.

After the croquant is shaped, it is transferred to the cutting group. The dimensions of croquant bars may vary according to the manufacturer’s needs. In the cutting group, the knives are designed to cut it. Here, the product is first cut with PTFE-coated round knives and in the second stage with a guillotine system. The cutting group is designed for a clear and fast cut without damaging the product. It cuts on the flowing belt without stopping and starting up, owing to its oscillating mechanism.

The Keskin Makine cutting group allows you to obtain products with widths ranging from 15mm to 150mm and lengths ranging from 50mm to 300mm. In this wide range, it is possible to produce croquants in any width and size you want and expand the product range.  When the croquants come out of the Keskin Makine croquant production line, your products are cut in the desired thickness, length, width, and weight and are ready for packaging.

Keskin Makine croquant production line provides you, our valuable croquant producers, with full capacity, high efficiency, and uninterrupted production on a flowing belt. Each croquant is produced equally in the sizes and weights you specify. The human factor and therefore the margin for error is minimal on the production line. The materials and conveyor belts used on all food contact surfaces comply with food specifications. The management system of the production line is easy and practical. The sets and production capacity on the line can be changed as required.
